Closing Auction — indicative close

Since 3 August 2026, F&O-eligible stocks stop continuous trading at 15:15 and clear in a call auction, while equity F&O keeps trading until 15:40. During the auction the exchanges publish an indicative equilibrium price — where the auction would clear if it ended now. This page shows it live, updating every 2 seconds between 15:10 and 15:45 IST.

How to read this. The auction runs 15:15–15:35: order entry from 15:20, with the second entry window closing at a random moment between 15:28 and 15:30, then matching to 15:35. Because the cut-off is randomised, the last indicative price shown here is not guaranteed to be the final one.

Caveat. CAS is a stock-level mechanism. Whether an index close is auction-derived, or whether the exchanges simply take the last traded index value and the indicative figure is informational, is not something we have confirmed. Treat this as what the exchanges publish, not as a settlement value.
