Why comparing venues matters
BTC options trade on multiple exchanges that don't always agree — spot price, open interest, and positioning can diverge between Deribit, Binance and Delta India, sometimes meaningfully. A single-venue view can make a local imbalance look like a market-wide signal when it's really just one exchange's order flow. Reading all three side by side separates genuine market-wide positioning from venue-specific noise.
How to read this page
- Spot & basis — each venue's own spot price, and how far it sits from Deribit's (the reference venue, given its dominant open interest).
- Open interest, PCR & max pain — computed the same way for all three venues, so the numbers are directly comparable.
- Premium data availability — not every venue exposes the same depth of data (see methodology below); the table flags where a venue's numbers are OI-only.
Methodology & data
Deribit, Binance and Delta India are read live, side by side, with open interest, PCR and max pain computed identically across all three. Binance's public feed exposes open interest only — no bid/ask/premium — so its max pain and PCR are OI-based like the others, but it has no premium column. Each venue's "daily"/"weekly" expiry is its own nearest listing; dates usually align across venues but aren't guaranteed to. Deribit has no dedicated ETH spot feed wired, so its ETH spot is estimated from put-call parity across the chain rather than read directly — every other spot figure on this page is a direct feed read.
Which exchanges does this page cover?
Deribit, Binance and Delta India — read live and compared side by side on spot, open interest, PCR and max pain.
Why do spot prices differ between venues?
Each exchange has its own order book and liquidity, so small price differences ("basis") between venues are normal and usually arbitraged away quickly. Persistent or widening basis can itself be a signal.
Why doesn't Binance show premium data?
Binance's public options feed only exposes open interest, not bid/ask/premium. Its PCR and max pain figures are still computed from open interest, same as the other venues, but there's no premium column for it.
Is Deribit's spot price direct or estimated?
Direct for BTC. For ETH, Deribit has no dedicated spot feed wired on our side, so ETH spot is estimated from put-call parity across the chain rather than read directly from an exchange feed.
